Could be a neat idea to anyone who's involved in factional warfare, allow combatants to redeploy faster to combat areas etc.
So what would be the pros and cons of this if it were to be implemented?
this has be asked meny of time, the answer ive seen from CCP on this anything less then 24 hours would make jumpclones to useful. such as
"you are at war, in the morning you jump to clone B you do your crap the war targets finally figure out where you are. and 12 hours after that you jump back to Clone A".
now what about those who don't have jumpclones. yes i know its something you have to work for to get.
but if your not welling to commit 24 hours in one place you really don't need to go there.
Except that 24 hours in this case is more along the lines of 48 hours, some of us have lives outside of eve, so we get to play 3 or 4 hours a day on a good day, lets say i'm out in 0.0 doing my thing, then 3 hours into my 4 hours I need to go to empire 40 jumps away to do some shopping/selling etc. I use my jump clone, an hour later I log out.
Now the next day I log in, my corp, friends, ships assets are all in my 0.0 station 40 jumps away, so my options for day 2 is I can log in and wait for the JC clock to run out and jump back to 0.0, but my play time is already over by then, so having had no fun I log out. 24 hours have passed.
Day 3 I can finally spend some time again since my clone is now back home, and I can play during my play time, all in all since my jump to empire space to do some market pvp, approx 45 hours have passed.
yes 12 hours may be a little short, but 24 is just simply too long, 18 or 20 hours will probably be short enough to solve most peoples issues with JC's whilst still long enough to make them not too over powered.
